    • Discontinued Products or Components: If a fabric, color, or part has been discontinued, Shade & Light will make every effort to offer a comparable substitute when possible.
    • Third-Party Manufacturer Changes: Certain components (e.g., motors, remotes) are supplied by outside manufacturers. If a supplier discontinues support, Shade & Light will make reasonable efforts to provide compatible alternatives.

These situations do not represent a manufacturing defect and may fall outside the scope of warranty service. Shade & Light remains committed to assisting customers in finding fair and practical solutions whenever possible.

How To Obtain Warranty Service

Normally, warranty service requests should be directed to the retailer from whom you purchased your Shade & Light product. The retailer will evaluate the issue and, if necessary, process any returns or repairs with Shade & Light on your behalf.

When contacting the retailer, please have the following information ready:

    • Proof of original purchase (invoice or sales receipt)
    • Product model and identification number
    • Description of the defect or issue

Important: Unauthorized returns or attempts to bypass the retailer will not be accepted. Dealer or installer service fees for on-site visits, removal, or reinstallation may apply.

Legal Rights & Limitations

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have additional rights that vary from state to state. Some states do not allow limitations on how long a warranty lasts or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

No dealer, installer, or agent may alter this warranty or make additional guarantees beyond those stated herein.
